Our last Testimonials

Excellent company. Called round the day after enquiry to evaluate, written quote emailed the next day. Tree surgeons were outstanding, really hardworking and safety conscious and tidied up everything so the area was as safe as it could be after a car had come off the road and ploughed into our garden.
— Mrs C
We contacted the English Garden Company (also operate as the English Tree Company) about a tree that was at risk of coming down following the recent storms. We received a quote and were booked in very promptly and a team arrived on a Saturday morning to complete the work. The work was done very quickly and to a high standard. They were very conscientious and tried to avoid making any mess where they had to pass through our utility room and checked with us to make sure we were happy with the completed work before filling in the hole the stump had been in. In addition to the work we’d hired them for, they noticed that a fence panel that had fallen down needed to be put back in place and did this as well which was greatly appreciated. Would happily use the English Garden Company again.
— Mr G
All dealings were very pleasant and professional: my initial telephone call and later telephone and e-mail contacts with Kiersa Cunningham and Jean Colbourne in the office; the inspection visit & quote from Neil Fletcher; and dealings on the day with Paul and Roo. Paul and Roo, arrived promptly and were very considerate as regards causing the minimum of disturbance in regard to parking, access and loading. My initial request, on which the quotation was based, was for the removal of four branches. After they had swiftly and efficiently removed three of the relevant branches they asked to speak to me. They pointed out that, whilst totally willing to proceed with the removal of the fourth branch, if I insisted on this, they would both strongly advise against it, both for the good of the tree and for my own longer term aims, as removal of the fourth branch would unbalance the appearance of the tree and lead more swiftly to the decay of a fifth branch, which I wanted to preserve. After a pleasant and, on their part, clearly well-informed discussion, I was convinced to follow their advice. I was impressed that they put the long-term good of the tree, and my ultimate aims, ahead of small, short-term financial considerations. They then proceeded to remove everything carefully and efficiently, leaving the area neat and tidy. I had gone to this firm because they had done a good job on another tree some ten years ago.
— Mr D
Just had to email you to say how fantastic the guys were that cut back the trees this morning. They were so friendly and did a great job. What a difference! They have left everything so tidy, if you didn’t know you wouldn’t think that anyone had been here and cleared so much away.
— Mrs S
I would like to say that we are very pleased with the work that has been carried out in our garden. We are also very grateful that you stuck to your estimate when the job was bigger than anticipated. The team was excellent. We would happily recommend your firm to anyone who needed similar work.
— Mr W
Just wanted to say sincere thanks to your guys for the fantastic work done at my mum’s house yesterday. Arrived dead on time, were amazingly efficient in difficult weather and worked very hard to achieve great results. And they cleaned up everything afterwards. Would have no hesitation recommending your company - indeed, have already passed your details onto someone else. Thanks again to all
— MR S
We would like to let you know that we were impressed by the way your team carried out the work on our weeping willow. They were very professional and treated our property with great respect. Most importantly, they were particularly careful when working in our neighbour’s garden. Please pass on our thanks
— Mrs W
I experienced a very professional and friendly service from this company who have carried out work for me in the past. The tree surgeon was very helpful in providing advice. Everything was taken away and I am very satisfied with the results.
— Ms S
Trees reduced in height by 3m. Very professional, out in wind and rain, did not stop them. Tidied up immaculately afterwards, good value for money.”
— Mrs. J
