It all started when...

The Fletcher family has been involved in The Horticultural/Alboricultural  Industries for over 100 years. Claude Fletcher ( Neil's grandfather) was a Horticultural worker in Lea Valley in the 1920s. Neil Fletcher, his grandson, started apprenticing at the age of seventeen . He established his own company in 1974 and, since than, he’ve been servicing the greater London and the Home Counties for over 45 years. Today it is a family business were the oldest daughters are involved in the company as Office Manager and Amin. assistant, sharing the same pathos and passion.


 

 

Meet the Team

 

NEIL FLETCHER

founder & head gardener


Neil is the founder of the company and has over 45 years worth of expertise within the tree and garden industry, which has been his passion since he was a young boy. He remains an essential and pro-active member of the company. Neil is extremely hard working, and always goes the extra mile to guarantee our standard of work sets the highest benchmark, which many other companies can only aspire to.

 

JOZEF Lorinc

Arboricultural manager, senior Foreman

Jozef is originally from Slovakia where he obtained a degree in Agriculture before deciding to move to the UK to work with gardening and tree companies. He joined us in 2003 and has trained to become a fully qualified Tree Surgeon, as well as obtaining NVQ Level 2/3 in Amenity Horticulture and Sports Turf. His high standard of work and attention to detail proves his commitment to ETC and to our clients. He manages the Tree department and leads his own team.

 

Harriet Bagge

Office Manager

Harriet, who is Neil’s eldest daughter, and has been an essential part of the company for over 16 years, is responsible for the office administration, client liaison, and generally managing the office. Harriet is efficient, friendly and reliable when responding to clients’ requests. With support from her admin team clients are provided with a first class service.

 

Kiersa CUNNINGHAM

Administrator

Neil’s daughter Kiersa  commitment to the family business sees her working all hours along with the rest of the team to ensure our clients are getting the best service possible. She is responsible for all TPO (Tree Preservation Orders) and Conservation Area applications, ensuring permission from councils are obtained and works are completed as soon as possible for our clients.

 

Jean Colborne

Accounts

Jean is our longest-serving admin member of staff, with over 30 years of service to the company dealing with the accounts. She is hard working, loyal, and very knowledgeable when it comes to our clients’ accounts. She has built up wonderful relations with our long standing clients, and is always at the end of the phone ready to answer any account-based questions.
