It all started when...

The Fletcher family has been involved in The Horticultural / Alboricultural  Industries for over 100 years. Claude Fletcher (Neil's grandfather) was a Horticultural worker in Lea Valley in the 1920s. Neil Fletcher, his grandson, started apprenticing at the age of seventeen . He established his own company in 1974 and, since than, he’s been servicing the greater London and the Home Counties for 50 years. Today it is a family business where two of his daughters and his son are involved in the company, sharing Neil’s pathos and passion.

NEIL FLETCHER

founder & head gardener

Neil is the founder of the company and has 50 years worth of expertise within the tree and garden industry, which has been his passion since he was a young boy. He remains an essential and pro-active member of the company. Neil is extremely hard working, and always goes the extra mile to guarantee our standard of work sets the highest benchmark, which many other companies can only aspire to.

JOE D

ArboriculturE CLIMBER/FOREMAN

Joe is our fully qualified and highly experienced tree surgeon, , with over 10 years in the industry. A friendly, efficient, and incredibly skilled chainsaw wielder, Joe tackles every job with precision and professionalism.

Whether he’s pruning, reducing, or safely taking down a tree, Joe combines technical expertise with a calm, approachable manner that puts clients at ease.

When he’s not up a tree, he’s busy at home with his wife and three kids, proving that the only thing he handles better than a chainsaw… is chaos.

Jemma L

ADMIN & CLIENT SUPPORT

Jemma is our friendly and approachable admin assistant, often the first-person new clients speak to. She handles new enquiries and takes care of general admin duties, keeping the office running smoothly and ensuring everyone gets the information they need.

Outside of work, Jemma loves cooking, spending time with her family — the perfect balance to her busy days helping our clients.

MEL H

ACCOUNTS & FINANCE

Mel is a key part of our accounts team, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She looks after one-off works invoicing and manages our purchase ledger with accuracy, organisation, and a level of efficiency that keeps the whole operation in order.

Outside of work, Mel loves swimming, which is probably the only time she’s not thinking about numbers.

garden maintenance accounts

Lauren handles all of our garden maintenance invoicing, bringing a friendly and meticulous approach to every job. She’s efficient, clear, and always happy to help clients with their account queries.

When she’s not managing the maintenance schedule and invoicing, she’s busy chasing after her one-year-old little boy, which makes dealing with gardeners look easy.

Harry Fletcher

APPRENTICE

Harry Fletcher, Neil’s youngest and only son has now joined the family business as an apprentice, learning the trade from his father.
